Steve Fussell is a lifelong resident of Desoto county, and he has worn many hats over the years. Steve grew up on the family farm, raising cattle and growing oranges. He worked on the farm and in the family slaughterhouse, Fussell Frozen Foods INC., throughout his youth. Steve had a passion for the agriculture industry at a young age, and began his own citrus nursery while he was still in high school. This blossomed into a full-time job, and he worked in the citrus industry and grew his business until the decimation of much of the citrus industry by Canker in the early 2000's. It was about that time when Steve decided to go into another family business, real estate. In 2001, he obtained his Salesperson's license and joined his father's real estate firm. This began the start of a career that would change his life! Steve entered the real estate industry just before the real estate boom of the 2000's, and it was during this time that he fell in love with the industry. Seasoned agents, with over 20 years in the real estate industry are few and far between. Steve's knowledge of the real estate industry in Desoto and surrounding counties is incomparable to most agents.
